The Saints of the Church are individuals who have been officially recognized by the Orthodox Church for their exceptional virtue, holiness of life, and miraculous interventions. These people are considered to have lived a life fully dedicated to God, overcoming passions and temptations, and reaching a high level of spiritual perfection.

The Saints are honored with special feasts, and their memory is celebrated with religious ceremonies and prayers. Additionally, the Saints are regarded as mediators between humans and God, and prayers are often addressed to them for help and protection.
